The term Chakra means wheel or disk in Sanskrit.
The Chakras are the energy centers of our body. There are a multitude of Chakras, including the 7 main Chakras which are presented as follows:
- 1st Chakra, Root, Mulhadara, Red;
- 2nd Chakra, Sacral or Sacral, Svadhisthana, Orange;
- 3rd Chakra, Solar Plexus, Manipura, Yellow;
- 4th Chakra, Heart, Anahata, Green;
- 5th Chakra, Throat, Vishuddha, Light Blue;
- 6th Chakra, Third Eye, Ajna, Dark Blue;
- 7th Chakra, Crown, Sahasrara, Violet or White;
These 7 Chakras are the main energy centers of our body, whose role is to receive and emit vibrational energy that keeps our body not only physical, but also mental, emotional and spiritual in good health.
